1st blog Dillon Drake

I have finished the graphic novel series Full Metal Alchemist written by Himoru Arakawa. There were twenty-seven books in the series and I have finished them all. What happened in the series was that there was a young boy and his brother who tried to use alchemy to bring their dead mother back from the dead, but it failed and the brother lost his soul and the boy lost his arm and leg. They go on many quests to find out how they can regain their bodies and in the last book they final reach "the truth" and get there bodies back while saving mankind.
I like this series because it gets your attention and keeps it, and it is very interesting to read. I think the author wrote this to create another world situation. I think this motivated her because it catches a lot of other peoples attention. The theme of this series was the seven deadly sins because the names of the villains were the names of the seven deadly sins.
The best character is Ed because he is the main character and is the one with the most values. He grew because he learned how to use alchemy properly. One quotation from the book is "I am not a shrimp!" because he is portrayed as someone who is very big, but when people see him they are surprised and he gets very angry at that. Some questions I want to know is what happens next and what happens to their father afterwords. Overall this series was very intriguing.
